Black rifle coffee shirts used to be ok. The coffee is pretty good. Bummer they’re supposed to be all about vets and sponsor non vets. There’s plenty of vets in all sports and interests. We appear to have some accomplished moto guys here on this forum.

Lol the military needs grunts but I didn't get a 97 on the ASVAB to police call the parking lot and paint rocks all day, or ruck 8 miles in full gear. God bless their hearts, hahaha. Being a spook was/is more fun. I got to use both my mind and some physicality all at the same time doing VBSS, counter surveillance and other clandestine ops at NEIC. I still like the few grunt style shirts I picked up when I was in, even if I am cosplaying I guess.

The problem is that they're stuff is for military people, and I'm not that. If they made shirts for gearheads or propellerheads, I'd be all over it.

As an actual grunt veteran, not a jarhead, I don't quite frankly care what civilians wear. Are they doing some sort of stolen valor? No. Hence grunt-style, a brand.

Like arguing people wearing sports jerseys or team logo'd shirts.

I work with people with they/them in their email signature and they will ask me how my matches went and when duck season is and I've taken a bunch of them shooting. I don't really wear logos in general so I don't have any cringe shooting apparel but I don't think anyone actually cares.

And It’s fine if you don’t care what the kids are wearing, but this IS a discussion about wearing gun apparel and the word grunt on your shirt heavily implies you’re, let’s say, gunfighter adjacent.

It’s actually pretty neat that many of us have similar hobbies. I’m a big fan of woodworking and bikes myself…. Just don’t have any natural talent towards either. Just bought an old 75 rd350 project to kill myself on lol

Cool bike!! Back when I was riding, I had a beater Kawasaki 750 Triple. Thing was noisy, smoky, and handled like a door hinge. But what a ride, haha!!

That is why the brand is called "grunt style". It's a brand, a shirt that has logos and words. Actual military don't wear none of that crap during service or on-duty. The only shirts with illustration on may be company/battalion/brigade shirts.

Gotta take your Marine out of this. Marines don't have cross-rifles for emblem like "grunt style brand" uses. That belongs to Army. Army Grunts not Marine Grunts.

How old are you? I saw plenty of POG’s at Dam Neck with grunt style lol and I don’t think anyone ever took it that seriously.

I mean grunt style has or had shirts for the different branches.. a POW MIA shirt, random gun shirts and other moto designs. Stolen valor is a massive reach there, not sure where you’re coming up with that. You don’t have to be in the military to support pro military brands either

I don’t think our points are mutually exclusive. If you’re saying Army grunts are less touchy about POGs and rough stuff posers, I would say that kinda surprises me. I’ve always thought a little higher of dogfaces.

Gatekeeping grunt style shirts is pretty cringe tbh. Never met a Marine that would care. As a veteran I’d probably think cool they must be adjacent to the life somehow
