I'm a CCW holder with three handguns registered to my name. I also have two shotguns that I've had since the early 80's but haven't bought ammo for since the new law. Maybe a question already covered that I didn't see, but does the DOJ check confirm the ammo against what guns you have registered?

If you mean they will only let you buy calibers of guns you own, no. You can buy any caliber.
That's exactly what I was wondering. I had heard something to that effect when the law first came about but I assume it was speculation. Thanks!

You have to be in the system at your current address. I just moved, so guess I need to buy another gun.
