They are federally banned from private ownership. You cannot interfere with wifi, cell phone, GPS, or any other form of electromagnetic/radio communication. Same category as cell phone jammers basically. They are also classified as aircraft, so interfering with them can get you other flavors of federal charges.

I've been to a few factories of companies that make anti-drone guns. I was impressed with how much EM warfare they can pack into a shoulder mounted package. Not sure I'd want to be the one frying myself with that level of radiation with each trigger pull though...
