Seems like this gun has been out of stock everywhere in California for a few months. I'm looking to get the gear pac version. Does anyone here have any indication when it will be back in stock?

Thanks
Wayne

No idea but the gear pac isn't that great if it costs more, the optic is trash so potentially paying 100 dollars more for 2 extra magazines, don't forget the 11 percent excise tax

It's hard to find 10 round magazines and I was able to sell the viridian optic from my other gear pac for $110

Thanks for the link, I would buy either gear pack or alone if I could find one
yeah it doesn't seem like the comps are in stock at all. I have a regular 4.5 and it's nice, I'm not a fan of comps so I can't say if it's worth it to get the comp.

Not a fan of any optic that I can't change the battery on without removing it

The Gear Pac is only $65 more than the gun on its own ($748 for the Gear Pac, $683 for just the Echelon) so it's not too bad a deal even having the pay the extra $7 in excise taxes.

That depends where you go the MSRP of the non gear pac is 833 and gear pac is 900 but turners had them priced at 800 and 900 earlier this year.

It’d probably be easier just PPTing/buying a regular Echelon at whatever best price you can get, and sourcing the comped upper elsewhere (like on GAFS)

Doesn't the upper cost around $400?

I’m not sure since I haven’t looked into comped uppers. I got a complete full size upper for $200, for reference. You could always sell the upper you’re replacing to help offset the cost of the comped upper.

The reason you can get the non comped uppers cheap is those guys are selling them to get the comped upper lol. It's tricky because Springfield won't ship stuff here so you need a middleman and hard to get a good price though an intermediary

Fair enough, I'm glad I don't have an urge to have any comped/ported guns. Sounds like a pain (but probably still less of a pain than waiting who knows how long for them to be back in stock)

Yeah I don't like compensated pistols either, learning to shoot with recoil is part of the fun of it otherwise I would spend a lot less and just shoot 22 or a nerf gun.
