Experience with AimCam Pro Glasses?

I'm considering the purchase of this product for use in action shooting competitions: https://www.aimcam.com/products/aimcam-pro3k?variant=32104935555107

It checks a number of boxes for me:
1) A very small camera with high video quality and image stabilization
2) ANSI Z87+ rated safety lenses
3) Multiple lenses to account for day or night shooting
4) Memory storage capacity and battery life that will last sufficiently long
5) The capacity to accept prescription lens inserts.

My questions:
1) Does anyone have experience with this product?
2) Does anyone see any flaws with this product? Those with greater experience may identify shortcomings I may not.

I wouldn’t recommend them for durability. The meta glasses are better if you’re going to go for that style… the best they could do for me was $100 off

I suggest a insta360 or the meta glasses

Thanks for your insights, I appreciate them. I was not aware of durability issues with the AimCams, plus they apparently don't play well with over-ear hearing protection.

I looked at the Metas. They seem to have limited endurance in terms of capacity and battery - probably not an issue as long as you focus on your active stage only. Also, I wasn't able to find any safety ratings for the Meta glasses. I'm jealously protective of my eyesight; safety ratings are important to me.

I've read good things about insta360, thanks for confirming the quality of the product.

In case anyone has thoughts on this? Or is it better to go with tried and true insta360?

this is what you'll see on most people right now. It's small and durable. For majority of people this is perfectly fine. Battery lasts a long time and it's not heavy 33grams so yo udon't even notice it. The latest firmware, turns it off after predetermined time. I also like it more than the meta's because the sound quality is better too.

IMO, this is the best for it right now.

I love my Meta glasses for quality but I think the Insta360 cams that clip onto hats are better for shooting. Seems like most of us wear a ballcap while competing because sun. That hat bill takes up the upper 1/3 of the footage on the Meta glasses. The little Insta360 cameras clips to the bill and don't have that problem.
