I've been carrying an EYV holster on and off for about 8 months and finally decided to put together a "long-term" review.
A few highlights:
• Very lightweight at 4.7 oz
• Surprisingly comfortable thanks to the foam backing
• Good retention and consistent draw
• Compensator-friendly design
• Hardware has held up well
• Thin metal clips conceal nicely
The biggest downside for me is the clip spacing. While I generally prefer dual clips over a single center clip, these are mounted so close together that putting the holster on can be a little frustrating, especially when carrying appendix.
For roughly $50, I think it offers solid value, but whether it's the right holster for you will depend heavily on your carry style and preferences.
I also included a concealment demonstration and discussed whether the amount of printing shown would be acceptable for everyday carry.
Full review:
What holster are you currently carrying and what features matter most to you?
