Gents,
Most of you are likely to know the first "gun control" in what was to be the US was the "safeguarding" of firearms
at Faneuil Hall in Boston. The guns were then stolen by the British. (Might the guns be returned in two weeks?)
I have been suggesting for the 250th we have a replay of that event, but where the guns are actually returned
to the owners. The Department of the Interior is not really hot on this idea, but it could be fun. I have been
pushing the Park Service on this point and they are not helpful.
Do you have a 1770s-period musket or blunderbus and want to participate? Might you know Doug Burgum?
Better yet, Donald Trump? If you like the idea, push your contacts ... even if you just write a suggestion to the
Park Service.
