A divided Fifth Circuit panel has ruled that the federal laws blocking a direct handgun sale to an out-of-state buyer violate the Second Amendment.The September 18 opinion in Elite Precision Customs v.ATF reverses a Texas district court and enters judgment for a gun shop and its fellow plaintiffs.

Sorry we are all busy shooting this weekend …We already organized group trip to TX and already got back with CA compliant 2K11 🤣😎🤣
 
AZ is in the 9th Circuit Courts jurisdiction. You'd have to drive to Texas, Mississippi, or Louisiana.

They might sell it to you, but bringing it back still isn't legal. I mean, you can PPT without an FFL in AZ already so buying isn't the problem. It's the bringing it back to CA.

Maybe this is the first domino to fall though, who knows.

It's a positive. Even if it doesn't affect us yet.
 
Not yet, anyway. Definitely a step in the right direction.

Im somewhat confused about this ruling. I’m no lawyer that’s for sure, but I can’t help but think of freedom week. When a federal trial court judge strikes a federal statute down as unconstitutional, then it’s unconstitutional everywhere. Not just say, San Diego.
