You are a new member.
The site flags you as such to sellers as there is a big problem with new members being frauds.
Therefore, established sellers are more likely to ignore you.
You need to participate on the site for a while and make more posts to get your "new member" tag to go away.
After you do that, you will still have no feedback points.
So after your new member status is gone, post some stuff for sale and sell it.
That will get you some feedback points.
Then you will have an easier time buying here.
 
Seems like lots of people who decide to sell things are like this. Whether guns or anything else for that matter.

Same goes for buyers as well. One minute in mood all sounds great find something then the well I don’t need that attitude comes back.
 
I've sold a couple times to "brand new" to firearms guys and both went extremely well. Both were pleasant people to deal with.
It was kind of enjoyable watching a new guy grab up his first firearm....I remember that guy in myself once not too long ago.

I think learning to read between the lines is kind of essential to figuring out what kind of person/people your dealing with.
There's usually caveats to everything they say, such as "have to work this weekend" after making plans to meet up for the transfer.
or I'll circle back next week to set it up.....On and on...If someone is not all over it, then how much do they really want to buy or sell?

I know when something comes up that I want, I make it clear that I want it and stick to it....because, well, I want it! :)
 
I always try to list items at a fair price and try to hold to that price...... that said.... when people don't try to lowball me I figure its a scam and have ignored before.....
Sorry.... when things seem too good to be true ....I get cautious.
