I haven’t shot it but I’ve held it, racked it and played with the slide and trigger. I enjoyed it. My question is for those of you who have one, how did you like the recoil? Any malfunctions? I know I’ve read and seen some complaints on YouTube and Reddit. What’s everyone’s personal experience been? Thank you!

I've been looking at getting one as well. They do feel good, however Fusion has some of the worst customer service in the industry, which gives me pause...

i had it for a bit and it was solid for the price. Soft shooting and felt good in the hands. I did run into a few stovepipes though, and the mecgar mags did not work in mine

I currently own one with a monoblock barrel I really do recommend getting their spring kit and switching to a 10 lb spring. Also I recommend using 124 grain or higher using 115 grain is the only time I had returned to battery issues with the 8 lb spring from factory. WIth the comp tho its a budget XC in terms of shooter experience

My XP pro Comp has been nothing but a dream tbh… no issues except for 1 stovepipe in the first 10 rounds of the gun. I run 124g 90% of the time and zero problems. Shoots extremely flat. I purchased the spring pack just in case I was getting out of battery but didn’t happen. Watch Reno mays video on it, amazing gun, thinking about getting Xp3c.

I shot a mag through a friend's, and it was very nice. Comp, no ports. I have small hands and it felt really nice compared to some of the fatter 2011s. Super easy to shoot fast, very flat shooting. But I couldn't tell you what was done to it (i.e. springs or anything) and I don't know about reliability.

I've checked them out quite a bit and am an "Ambassador" for Fusion Firearms. Though I do not yet own a single product. It's only been 8 months, so maybe they just need a little time .

Mixed reviews from the ones I've seen at matches. I know of a few where the comp or mono block flew off and the barrel mounting lugs broke. Fusion has apparently changed the design in hopes to fit it and claim it was a heat treat issue for some barrels.

For the most part they seem to work as good as most other firearms, at least according to the folks that I know personally that have shot them. Recoil is very flat as they are heavy guns with a big ol comp hanging off the front of the barrel.

One of these days Fusion will possibly think about supporting their "Ambassadors" and getting some product into our hands. Until then I can only go by what I see and what those that I know say.

They all went to youtubers for positive reviews.

Recoil impulse is quick and smooth - like a gentle tap to remind you that a bullet just exited the barrel. I haven't had any malfunctions in a year of shooting this in matches and on the flat range. I will say however, I tuned up the extractor, polished the rails and disco ramp, and polished all the internals right after I took it home from gun jail - I also did the same to my 3.6HD and Prodigy, so it's not just a XP thing.

Im still running the original recoil spring that came with it, easy to air rack. Ive read a few reviews of people getting soft shell ejection with their XP comp while using the oem recoil spring, and theyre not wrong. Empty casings are barely tossed out when the gun cycles. It doesnt bother me but some people want their empty shells sent to the moon. This "issue" can be fixed by swapping the recoil springs from Fusion.

Really happy with mine. Ive shot it with 124gr 200 rounds. Zero malfunctions. Mine is the comp, no port. The Dealer who sold it recommended not getting the comp/ported model saying it only runs well on 147gr. I really like the glock mag compatibility and I run an SRO optic. Only regret is I wish I would have gotten it in bronze rather than chrome. Other than that I really enjoy shooting it.

I bought the ported/comped one.
2nd mag in the slide completely binded up. Wouldnt slide in any direction.
Sent it back to Fusion.
They said it was an extractor issue, and that they fixed it.
Next trip out, it would failure to eject, failure to load next round.
They sent me another ejector and a set of recoil springs.
Installed. No difference. Absolutely would not go into battery. Would not eject.
I took it to a local gunsmith.
He had it for a weekend and fixed it. He changed the angle on the feedramp.
I ran a dozen mags through it without issue.
Then I posted it for sale, sold it for an $800 loss because I didnt want to deal with it.

1 of my friends, and 1 of his friends had issues with the comp breaking off after 2000 rounds.

I will never buy another Fusion anything. I should have bought the Platypus, which was my first thought, but the Fusion was available in store.

There are better options out there. P211, Kimbers.....

You get what you pay for.

At least they tried to fix yours. I ordered a barrel from them last year, received it with an uneven wavy feed ramp, chatter marks in the rifling, and numerous other issues. Sent it back to them for repair/replace, then the red flags started popping up. Didn't hear anything for a month, so I reached out, they claimed they just got it and would have it out in a week. 2 months later, had to email again, they said 2 weeks. 3 more months, this time they didn't even remember what they were supposed to be doing so I had to remind them, and again, "it will go out in 2 weeks". Another month goes by, this time they said it will be mid September. Ok, whatever, I've been waiting 11 months at this point for a freaking barrel I could've made by hand in this amount of time, but sure. September ends and no word, I finally just emailed and told them to give me a refund. Almost a year of being strung along for a $300 barrel that had worse quality than $99 ebay barrels I've gotten before. Will never do business with them again.
