Gen 6 Glocks

I picked up my Gen 6 today. I have a difficult time with patience.

No LCI or MDM. Added bonus: you get to shoot it now.

Pretty jelly.

Need to step up my impatience.

That’s the way to go, no LCI, no mag disconnect , no awful graphic. Off roster might come down in price IF the neutered version comes to California.

I have my doubts of a new Glock coming to CA roster, I don't see Glock giving in to external safeties and LCI's.

Do we know if grandfathering will still be a thing when microstamping comes back? It's hard to see a company dumping a bunch of $$$ into R & D and tooling to get a line up and running for a 18 month production run.

From my understanding as long as the pistols you bring back into CA aren't labeled assault weapons like the new P211 GTO, you should be fine. I'd call an FFL to make sure but I'm pretty sure you can bring as many back as you want as long as you report them through the proper channels

The P211 is not labelled as an AW.

So when leo PPT off roster's if say they buy one then sell it in a month and they do this a few times a year its bring the attention on them not the buyer. It tickles the straw purchase balls of doj.

LEO's get attention as buyers when they purchase a lot of off-roster guns to get them into the state. And if they're selling them almost immediately, especially if there are over 5-6 (I think) off-roster purchases in a year, they get scrutinized - so says my LGS that is a Glock Blue Line Distributor and handles A LOT of sales from LEOS.

I've owned gen 3, 5, 6 and i can tell you that while holding you notice a difference BUT while firing its really not noticeable shot about 3k rounds out of a gen 6 and another 3k out of a gen 5 in a month. Sold the gen 6s

Just drosed a gen 6 45 and a new gen 5 47. I dont think the gen 6 19/17/45/49 is coming to CA. If you look back on scotts R66 post he does directly say itll be the 43/48. The slimlines. Think about it. The only one they havent gen 6’d. Dont u think they want a full gen 6 line up? Also they just finally dropped 15 round metal mags. Yes that doesnt mean anything to us here in ca but thats a global drop. They probably going release a new slimline along that. AAAANNNND california is a ccw state. They probably have good reason to only release slimline models here in cali. Thats just my thoughts mixed with facts i feel a lot of people glanced/read over on the original post. Scot came back about a month later and directly mentions 43 and 48. So what else could it be. If the gen 6 full sized do come u can expect all gens especially gen 6 to drop in private market value. Goodluck with the FUD and speculation!

There is no way gen 6 will not come to CA the amount of money glock would make is wild
