I most commonly carry an H&K VP9 SK using an inside waistband rig. Even with shorts, belt, and a T-Shirt it disappears well.

I also make good use of CCWBreakaway products. They are most effective for concealed carry. Whether jeans or shorts, they work well.

Mind sharing which IWB holster you use with your VP9SK? Looking for options.

What's your summer method of carry ?

I want to carry more than I want convenience or comfort. I dress around the gun. If it's hot, I get a light shirt that is multi-colored to break up any outline that may occur. I use proper cotton shorts or pants and my usual Kore Essentials belt.

It's all about mindset and many Americans have become extremely lazy and undisciplined. They demand convenience in all things and will summon "Karen" the second there is a possibility of inconvenience. "Concealed carry", "Self-Defense", "Citizen Defender" and the like are all phrases used to hide the fact that we're training to kill people in a fight. Carry tools that will win the fight and not cater to personal convenience.

Wait do you aiwb carry under the tucked in shirt? Or you mean over the shirt with the jacket concealing it?

With a Vedder Light Tuck, I can carry AIWB with a tucked in dress shirt. It has a separate channel for the shirt to be tucked.

The Foxtrot Concealment AIWB holder does not allow me to tuck my shirt in. That's why I have two different holster/weapon combos, since I like AIWB

Shield with extra mag in a censored tactical holster, aegitec belt. The belt can be worn with shorts or pants without loops and a loose shirt. Also add a handheld light, pepper spray and pocket knife.

My gun, mag and holster don't change at all during the year, only the clothes (for reference, I'm 6'3", 250). I appendix-carry a P365 XMacro in a dark greet Tier 1 Axis Elite. It took a while to get used to the extra weight of the attached spare mag instead of a separate single-mag holster on my left hip. But I like it! Summer time is usually basketball shorts/athletic shorts with a single waistband drawstring. Gotta tighten it up to keep the holster from dropping below the 2XL t-shirts I wear. Some are just solid colors, some are for my favorite brand of motorcycles, or random printed-tees for companies I like (some are gun-related, some not). I wear regular Levi's jeans or khaki shorts with a Blue Alpha belt (don't like it, its just a velcro attachment with no buckle).

They're making enough of a comeback with "men" around here that you can pull them off without much of a second look. I use a marsupial, it's HD enough that I'm not worried about someone ripping it off and my shirt is usually covering most of it. Knowing my use case, I profile any non-obviously ghey dude wearing one cross body to be carrying, so I never do it. The really funny one is the dude I see often at the grocery store running a pack high and tight with his wallet, phone, and keys visible in his pockets. What's the pack for, big boy?

You just need to rock the 5” inseam pink shorts and 2-size-too-small t-shirt with belly button showing, then NO ONE will give you fanny pack a second look.

I think many guys don’t care if people suspect they are carrying, with either an obvious pack, gray man outfit, or obvious printing - they just care about carrying legally. Also most people wouldn’t notice that stuff, only fellow gun enthusiasts or CCW holders, which are not the people most really care about knowing.

I carry it at around 4 O'Clock position, and it's decently comfortable. Others can't tell the pistol is there unless I bend the wrong way - an unavoidable issue when carrying strong-side.

After surgery and radiation for prostate cancer; its pocket carry only vs. formerly Appendix carry for me. Currently it’s a P938 or P238 in a Superfly or Vedder Pocket Locker holster in the right front pocket. Usually Wrangler thin cargo shorts or Eddie Bauer hiker pants with 511 jeans in winter. And, yes…I choose comfort over capacity at this stage of my life; though I can get 8+1 with the P938 using Kimber mags. I have an LCP Max and a KelTec P32 which are very easy summer carries; but I’m not as confident for longer defensive use (read down a grocery or movie theater aisle) with those pistols. YMMV

I use my Marsupial Gear pack primarily while riding my bike. Leaning forward makes iwb print badly, appendix carry hurts, and I’m wearing shorts which rules out ankle carry, so a Marsupial Gear pack seems like my best option. The outside pocket carries my phone, ccw, ccw insurance card, DL, credit card, and a Glock 43 rides in the second pocket.

Small update. Based on recommendation on this thread I tried Vedder Lightsck and this thing is great.
I bought two of them one for my Kahr and one for cz p10c.
Both carry easily at 3 o'clock to the point I forget that they are there. And I am not skinny guy to say the least. Paired with next belt very comfortable carry

Nice! That is the combo I landed on as well, but I carry appendix. Maybe I should try 3:00 so I’m not flagging my nutsack whenever I sit down…. Seems way harder to conceal at 3:00 though

H&K P2000SK with a vedder lighttuck IWB strong side in a polo and jeans, shorts are fine too but I usually just wear pants to be professional. It has hit 90 recently and I feel fine carrying it. Might move to the Shield eventually
