I think it’s a big IF, not a matter of when for 17, 19, 45 Gen 6 to come to CA. we’ve got pretty good intel that 43x and 48 slim lines are coming this summer. But there is a ton of ongoing legal back and forth between the CA DOJ and Glock right now on the Gen V / Gen 6 situation and it doesn’t look promising in the short term.

Seen a g17 gen 3 with w holosun for 1200 consignment and a g34 around the same. I dont think these prices will hold. The roaster has soild options now atleast.

I think prices will go up for Glocks...they are absolutely not rare/collectible by any means, but due to scarcity for the time being and potentially off roster longer than we we all think/want, supply and demand --> prices going up

IMPORTANT CALIFORNIA HANDGUN UPDATE





Glock Gen 3 pistols will remain on the California Roster, however Glock is no longer producing them.


What does that mean?

Any Glock Gen 3 pistols currently in dealer inventory remain legal and available for sale

Once existing stock is gone, availability will be limited to what dealers already have


That said — this is NOT the end of options for California.

Yes, you read that right: NEW options are coming to California.

With the results above it is pretty much in line with what I was expecting. I think a lot of people are misunderstanding what is happening come July. For July nothing is happening. The best case scenario beyond that is basically a Gen 3 style frame with V series internal revisions but I still do not think that is enough for CA DOJ approval.

Gen 6 isn't happening folks. Glock has not even started drop testing and they would still need to add a CLI and magazine disconnect safety to satisfy roster requirements. Right now that SKU does not even exist so Glock would have to build a CA-specific version just for this market. Not going to happen IMHO.

I did on the posting I have nothing to hide at all I am aware the customization will prevent an easy sell but no biggie we all have preferences and to a lot of dudes they prefer to buy aftermarket slides and all.

As long as you have at least one Glock, a 17, 19, or 45. Best to have a 19. Like an AR15, everyone should have at least one.

if you offloaded your glocks at a premium; what what you pick up instead? I am ok with the P320 X5 Legion, what other options are there double stack wise? thinking 2 G19s for a P211

I have Glocks but moved into H&K and Staccato... P / CS / XC... If I could only have one firearm it would be my Staccato XC with it's factory zero'd RMR HD... Definitely more expensive and opinions always vary... Also have P30L, USP compacts, VP9 Match and USP Expert 9mm... They are all good...

Shot my buddies XC. Honestly wasnt impressed. Especially with that price tag.
