Giving Away Gear For Donations

I’m trying to create a classified ad to give away some shotgun magazines to someone who is willing to make a donation to the California Rifle and Pistol Association. In other words, I don’t want any money for them; I just want someone to make a cash donation to the CRPA for them in any amount (letting their conscience be their guide). However, the classified section is making me call it a “for sale” ad, and I can’t post the ad until I set a “price.” Is there any way to get around this and just post it as “free with donation”?

You’re better off selling it and making a donation with the proceeds or make one here..

Well, I won the shotgun I bought these for in a CRPA raffle (the 52-gun giveaway calendar), so it seems appropriate that they benefit from it — especially with all the 2nd Amendment litigation they’re funding right now. What if I set a price, and then called it a minimum donation amount, payable to the CRPA, in the item description? Would that work?

A Blackwater Sentry 12 magazine-fed pump shotgun. From what I understand, Blackwater then became Iron Horse.
