Glock 21SF Gen 3 - One is none, two is one...

I haven't even taken my 21SF to the range yet. I picked it up a couple years ago because I wanted to own one eventually. Whenever I want to shoot 45ACP I just take my TRP. Maybe I'll finally take it out to the range next time I go.

Same mentality as me. With ammo being so pricey, I end up taking my USP and 1911 to the range when I want to shoot 45. I might sell my 21, but I'm hesitant to do so since it just feels wrong to sell a Glock or a 45. And the 21 is both. But if I see something I really want, like the Sig P211, then my Glock 21 is going to be the first to go.

Mine was a little different. I almost sold my HK USP Expert .45, which used to be my primary home defense pistol, after I picked up the Glock 21SF. Mainly because I wanted the same manual of arms across all my primary pistols.

Good thing I didn’t. It eventually went off Roster, and now apparently it’s both a thing of beauty and actual functionality.

In CA it makes more sense to have a 45 ACP. 10 rounds of 45 is better than 10 rounds of 9mm IMO.

I got invited to a charity shoot for the Placentia Police K9 Foundation, so I figured I’d make it interesting.

Instead of bringing a 9mm Glock, I ran the 21SF with Fiocchi 230gr 45ACP. And, for the full experience, I used 10-round Kaliforniastan - er, California, magazines.

It was a fun and busy day. My teen also got to experience his first match, even if it was a bit “outlaw.”
