For future reference, if you fumble this much in getting your gun into your holster even when looking, that specific carry and holster is not meant for you.

I know it's safe, but a gun pointed at my junk just does something to me mentally that I can't get over. I like 3 or 4 o'clock carry for me. Only drawback is it's much more difficult to draw from holster in the car.

That's a well known video from eight years ago. In post-incident interviews, the shooter explained that while he pulled back his outer shirt, he failed to clear his undershirt. The shot severed his femoral artery, and only through the quick action of bystanders was the life of the inattentive Glock owner saved.
