I got offered to trade my stock S&W M&P FULL METAL 2.0 for a juggernaut glock 17, plus $300 cash on my end. Worth the trade?? Not a crazy fan of glock but like the idea of glock on my ccw.

Personally, as a Glock fan, I wouldn’t do the trade especially with $300 additional on your end. A Glock is a Glock is a Glock.

With the optic included?

Thats a decent deal cash on top would be more to cover for the Holosun I would say. Without the optic I think an even trade would be suitable

To be honest I would keep the 2.0 Metal unless your really liking that specific build

It's totally subjective and depends on what you deem a "good" vs. "bad" trade.
Keep in mind that none of this is stock for CCW. How you run your gun is up to you.

If it were me, I'd rather sell your M&P 2.0 and buy a stock glock instead if you really want a glock. Your gun is about $1.1k OTD or about $900 used. Aftermarket glocks are ~$750 asking price. The mods on this are mediocre for my taste and I'd rather spend the difference above on mods from companies that I want.

Like I said, it's subjective so at the end of the day that's up to you.

Glocks are funny because stock they are extremely reliable but there's nothing less reliable than a gucci glock with a bunch of mods. I'm far from against mods, I actually think it's something inherent to glocks specifically. I would absolutely rather have the M&P.

Yeah, once you get into the Gucci territory all that reliability goes out the window no matter how reputable the company is or the gunsmith.

All mine has sights, maybe trigger done (Glock Performance Trigger), and lights/RDS

that's kinda what is holding me back. Well said a glock is just a glock. The build quality on the s&w is so nice and full metal.

We both have the same optic on our guns.

I have done the gucci glock route a handful of times and also have a M&P 2.0 metal. Pound for pound, the M&P is better out the box and even better with mods.

There's a reason why he's trading it haha

Not a big fan of glocks, just want something light to CC. But the prices on glocks right now are so stupid

even just staying on-roster there's so many guns that would be better than a Glock, p365, M&P compact, Echelon compact, PDP compact, VP9K, Rost Martin, then a few more and then Glock at the very end.

Yeah don't get a random guys gucci build for your CCW bone stock glock is what you want for that.

Keep searching for the right deal you'll be surprised with that you find. For around $1000 you can get a Gen 5 if you wait enough

Have you tried the Shield X I think its a real sweet spot for CCW with S&W. You can almost get two of them for the value of the Metal 2.0

No Way GIF

As someone who owns both an m&p 2.0 and a Gucci glock... No. Do the math

$650-$750 for a stock G17
$200 for an rmr cut slide (can resell stock slide for $250ish so essentially free)
$150 for a trigger
$150-$250 or so for single color cerakote (not necessary)

$900 for functionally the same pistol
$1,400 to look similar and not resell your old parts. I'm sure you paid that much for your m&p alone. Straight trade? Maybe. Cash on top? Definitely not

For reference I just bought a Glock 17 with aftermarket rmr cut slide, timney trigger, barrel, slide stop, and magwell for $750. Functionally same as the pistol you're looking at.
