The FOMO kicked in hard after all the years of thinking I wouldn’t care to have a P2000. I guess you don’t miss it until it’s gone, and they were discontinued a couple years ago.

$686 off gunbroker seemed like a pretty good deal, looks like it was barely ever shot or handled and came with three mags and the backstraps.

I’m thinking at least a grayguns short reset trigger, maybe the hybrid? I’m just not sure if I would like that on a DA SA. I think the stock trigger shape is actually pretty good.

Also considering getting that optic cut @RustVendor suggested and having a little modernized compact HK.

One weird nuance with the mags, you can put the 15 round P30SK mag in a P2000SK and you basically have the P2000 grip size with 15. But the P2000 only has 13 round magazines because it’s old I guess.

These may fall off roster in January, so we’ll see. IMG_0452.webpIMG_0452.webp

Great pickup! I love mine. I found that my P2000 mags also fit in my VP9 A1 K. I went with the reduced strength hammer spring and it really cleaned up the trigger.

I don’t know that I’d want a weaker spring that could affect reliability though. That’s part of what makes these things so amazing. They just never have problems

Nice pickup. Is that 686 after excise/sales tax? If so, that's a great price. Who are you thinking about going to for an optic cut? I'm thinking about doing the iDot system but the direct mill by Vigilante Machine for $200 is very tempting.

No the tax adds another $128 but who’s counting

The other two I bid on sold for $1250 and $1049 so I thought that was pretty good with 3 mags and all original parts and case

Nice price.

I got my P2000 in 40 S&W for $429 in 2024 (no excise tax) with three mags and LEM trigger. This was when Turners was blowing them out. Love the pistol.

I got the P2000SK in 40 S&W for $599 in 2024, with four mags (for some reason, there was an extra bagged HK mag in the box, the sales guy was like ‘whatever’ haha!!).

I can’t believe someone would pay over $1,000 for one though…what the heck??

Yeah that’s absolutely insane to me. I really like these but they’re not worth $1250. That’s before gunbroker fees and shipping and CC fee too.

I paid $619.99 shipped in 2015. So I figure adjusted for inflation plus an extra mag $686 is pretty great. There’s a few nicks on the gun but it looks like it was barely shot

I want it for the DA SA. Never shot a LEM trigger but if it’s supposed to be like a striker fired feel then why not just get a VP9K
