Hi everyone. Was very glad to find your site.

Former Jarhead and lifelong shooter from Ventura County. My thing is mostly just shoot holes through paper and on to steel from far away.

Going to pursue combat course instruction this Spring / Summer. Also going to find a guide to teach me about boar hunting.

If you dont already know about it, make sure to check out ovgc.org. Its a killer range. Annual membership is only $100 a year. I'm finishing my last step for full membership this weekend.
 
Welcome. Also in Ventura county. I'm sure you already know about it but if you're ever looking for a new firearm or doing a PPT, Camarillo gun store is an amazing place. Huge huge selection of firearms and a bunch of really cool people who work there.
 
Frankly, to be perfectly honest, in the past, whenever I appeared at the shop, every person that I spoke to was rude and dismissive. These days, I won’t consider doing business with them if they were doing it for free.
 
I'm actually really sorry to hear that. Certainly not the Camarillo gun store that I know. Those guys couldn't be more helpful not only to me but when I see other customers in the store they're there trying to answer their questions and educate them the best way they can. Bummer you had those bad experiences
