What type of stippling do you have on your Glocks. They look nice.

Just wrapped up the final match of another great GSSF Indoor League at LAX Firing Range. I manage a couple of perfect scores (500) in Unlimited and MOS, and 1st Place in Unlimited and Rimfire

Here are my final scores:

- MOS: 497 (2nd)
- Unlimited: 498 (1st)
- Stock: 490 (3rd A Class)
- Rimfire: 488 (1st)
- Pocket: 248 (3rd)

Looking forward to shooting another league this summer. Tell your friends and help spread the word.

I think I'm confused by the scoring. I count 17 shooters that qualified for Stock by shooting 2 matches. So that would make it: Class A - 5 shooters, Class B - 6 shooters, and Class C - 6 shooters, right?

That would make the class winners:

A - Richard Lee
B - Mark Lan
C - Ricky Sze

However, while Richard got Class A, obviously, Class B went to Jeff Jones, and Class C went to Alan Zasi. It looks like the awards were given out based on the 23 total different shooters, even though 6 of them only shot one match.

Or maybe I don't actually understand how the scoring is supposed to work. hahaha

I think you might be right. It looks like they divided it into 1/3s by the 23 total participants and not the 17 that shot 2. For the record, I only helped with the scores, not the awards.

I don’t think there is anything that can be done about it now, but I’ll talk to Raul about it for the next one.

Trying to aim for 1st in B or C class is probably just as challenging if not more as shooting a 500. You just can’t predict how others are going to shoot. I’m pretty sure every-time I tried, I ended up at the bottom of A as opposed to 1st B.

Yeah...I was just shooting my best and hoping. I was 1st in C class after the first shoot and "1st" in B class after the second shoot, provided all of the shooters to that point had shot 2 rounds. Ended up 2nd in B class under the correct scoring, which I'm really happy with, since I got my first Glock, which was also my first gun, on January 12. I'll keep practicing and trying and just let the chips fall where they may in future matches.

Man that was fun! I have never shot the indoor league before. I'm looking forward to the summer session, or whenever the next session is. Chad, thanks for making a spread sheet for everyone. I was going for 500 but ended up with a 490..I want that 500!!! Used my trusty old G21. Too bad there is no heavy metal division haaha.

Shooting your own match is probably the best advice you can receive.

We had a total of 50+ unique division entries which is fantastic. Definitely tell your friends. The more the merrier.

I think they just discontinued it, but its not off roster YET haaha. Mine is the old gen3 pre-SF. But 45 is where its at! Love me that 45ACP! I need to get another, time to use that blue label coupon! Haaaha

Oddly enough for the indoor league there isn’t a rule where you need to swap to a non-compensated barrel like you do with the outdoor match. So, in stock form, that gun can be shot in Stock or Unlimited. If it’s the MOS version and you add a dot, it can also be shot in MOS.

If you want to shoot for score, it needs to be a G44. If you wanna just try it, I don’t think it matters.

The only exception is for MOS they now allow for factory cut slides.
