Question Gun Shows in California - A thing of the past?

Are the former California style gun show "loopholes" for lack of a better word, still a thing in AZ? Can you walk into a show in Phoenix and walk out with a long gun, sidearm and or ammunition without being a resident of the state?

I wouldn’t know. I’m a California resident so I’ve never bothered to ask. I don’t buy ammunition, and I don’t buy standard capacity magazines. In fact, I don’t buy anything when I go to gun shows outside of the state of California.

Well, maybe someone else will know the answer. If the proper conditions exist, it could justify a trip to Phoenix.
 
Ammunition, you can buy as much as you want, no ID, no 11% extra. Just use up every single round before you cross the border to come back home.😆😏😉

No. You must be an AZ resident to purchase a firearm. You can buy gun parts and ammo.

All I want to know what the average price of beef jerky at gun shows. Everyone keeps saying jerky at gun shows is very prominent, but no one seems to know the price.
 
I know there is a gunshow in Escondido this Weekend through guntvshows.com, but I have never been to one of theirs just the crossroads of the West. Anyone been to a show put on by this promoter GunTv Shows? Any good or not worth it?

I've been to a GunTv Show. To say it was small is an insult to the word small. About 75 tables total, and many were accessories, T-shirts, beanie babies, etc. Effectively, I paid $1 for each gun actually available for sale based on the $15 admission. Suffice it to say, I won't be back to one of theirs.
 
The best thing about Crossroads when it came to Del Mar, was the fact that a lot of vendors from outlying areas (OC, Riverside) would be there along with the local shops. This was back-in-the-day/nascent internet period and prior. The proliferation of online sales took away the mystique of seeing what shops from some "far-away exotic place" like Lake Forest had for sale. The real upside to this was it was almost guaranteed that something in their stock of wares wasn't selling locally (to them), and they were looking to make deals.

And shortly thereafter iirc, that guy trying to buy tickets to an Ice Cube concert at the fairgrounds got mad that it was sold out, pulled out a gun and started firing wildly right in front of sheriffs. But yeah, having a gun show on the property was too dangerous, nevermind all the horses which die on the racetrack. We're the problem though.
