I just had some auctions end via Mount McCoy. One rifle sold for half what I was asking here. One black powder gun sold for 3x what I was asking here.

Someone else had suggested taking a nice shotgun that I have to Pacific Sporting Arms.
I'll look into them.

You could try the big auction houses for high value shotguns. Rock Island, Poulin, Morphy's. These are auction houses that have large national followings and auction everything. Transferable mg's, military surplus firearms, cannons, gatling guns, high end commercial rifles, high end commercial shotguns, engraved Colts (that sell for hundreds of thousands, Colt collectors are something else.)

They do of course take a percentage of the sale, but I would imagine those are the best places to get max value outside of listing privately and praying someone sees your listing.

Mt McCoy auctions in Simi in So CA runs up to Northern California to as far north as Chico every two weeks. They will come to you pick up all firearm related stuff you want to get rid of and check in your documents all included in their service. I think they have a good following and I think they do a good job on the descriptions with the photos they take. I sold two revolvers recently through them that sold strong and they picked them up at my home. I can recommend Mt Mc Coy auctions as well.

They didn't charge for me but I'm less than 2hrs from their shop.

Fair amount of trap and skeet clubs within a few hours of sac, might be worth calling around to see who the local high roller is. All of those clubs have "that guy" who buys Perazzis etc because he can.

And they have the LA audience that has $$$
This is especially important for off roster handguns.
