I have had glass frag come out of my skin about ten years later. I had similar symptoms for about a week. My skin had been extra itchy and I kept scratched and I've day I felt a little something in it. A tiny grain of glass popped out.

Glass shards / shrapnel must be a nightmare, I guess an MRI would be able to detect them but the thought of it really made me cringe.
 
A good itch is worth having just so you can scratch the hell out of it.😆👌🏻

You already got several pieces of advice to see specialist doctors. Let me add one: Go to a really good reconstructive and cosmetic surgeon, and ask them about the scars. With modern microsurgery techniques, it is possible to excise and re-form scar tissue so well that it ultimately leaves nearly no scar. The folks who are really good in that are cosmetic surgeons who do reconstructive work. Not nose jobs or changing body parts (dirty joke about cosmetic surgery omitted here), but dealing with disfiguring injuries, and injuries in parts of the body where there is lots of motion.

At the recommendation of a neuro-surgeon friend I visited the dermatologist (again) a few days ago and had her perform an exciplex laser treatment on one of the wounds. So far I have no more itching on that wound but it's only been a couple of nights which isn't enough of a trend to spike the ball, at least not for me. The funny thing about this situation was when I told the Derm what I wanted her to do her response was "Oh, I should have thought of that!". Nice woman and quite competent but, it didn't even occur to her the first time I visited.
 
I've been blown to bits, shot and killed many times. It's a Hollywood thing.

Can't say I remember any post entertainment itching.

But I did play a bad guy who had an itchy trigger finger once. But I, the character was killed in last ten minutes of the movie.
