This is another one i wish could talk.
Story goes this was a bring back from world war II... but this is obviously a sidearm from the great war. it has a German Imperial Navy acceptance mark. Father served in WWI, gave it to son in WW2? or same guy who carried it for both and had to surrender it at the end? who knows.
I would LOVE any information anyone has on the holster. It was clearly modified to fit this handgun. See the 2nd opening cut in the strap. but the gun fits like its been in there forever. Very curious what it was for originally.
I shot this once. The Walther model 4 is an ugly but really well designed handgun. it "points" about as well as any handgun i have ever shot.
