HK CC9 CA Compliant???

The BG will likely replace my P365 as my main; we are allowed 3 on our CCW. My entire lineup will be changed. I plan to include a J frame and a G26 (with a flush mag or G19 mag if I wanted a more full sized carry).

I'm coming into renewal season soon. There are so many great micro's and compacts right now, it's gonna be hard to narrow it down.

Yea mine is coming up too. P365 I learned to control, but the trigger return spring failure is always on the back of my mind. A lot more options now. But I wanted at least one that doesn't have the CA features, so the G26 will be added.

3 oclock strong side. I understand the benefits of AIWB, but no matter what anyone said, a muzzle pointed towards important parts just felt unnatural. I learned to deal with how I carry. Been a year now.

Appendix (P365-X Macro / 43x / Shield+) or pocket carry for the BG. Not too concerned about my boy-bits, but you did spark my curiosity on how common a "penile massacre event" (negligent -charge?) is:

While there are high-profile individual reports of people shooting themselves in the genitals while carrying a firearm in the "appendix" position (front of the waistband),
it is not a common statistical occurrence among responsible owners using proper equipment.
Most documented cases of "shooting off a " or sustaining groin injuries from appendix carry involve negligence or improper gear, specifically:

• Carrying without a holster: Sticking a loaded gun directly into the waistband (often called "Mexican carry") is the primary cause of these injuries, as the trigger is completely unprotected.
• Re-holstering errors: The most dangerous moment is putting the gun back into the holster. Clothing (like a drawstring or shirt tail) can get caught in the trigger guard, or the user may keep their finger on the trigger, causing a discharge.

Plus side for vp9cc. Paddle mag release. I like that personally. Minus side. The functional grip is shorter than the cc9 due to trigger guard differences. And it’s gonna be more $

it's all probably a function of can HK actually produce the pistols for the CA market. cc9 are still not that readily available in free states AFAIK. they are all produced in the Georgia/US factory and i imagine there's only "x" amount of capacity. thevp9cc comes from germany and apparently is spawned off a german police contract/bid so maybe there's more capacity to build these? i dunno. in terms of getting on the roster the vp9cc shouldnt have any problems since it's functionally the same as the rest of the vp9 line AFAIK.

I still have my P365, but I did switch to FN Reflex MRD.
