Hodge Road?

I was coming home from Laughlin with the Wife I said lets make a stop so Hodge road it was.,
Hmmm... where do I begin

Please keep in mind this was my Observation and you may have had a different experience.
After changing a flat tire from a steel cased 7.62 in the sidewall we just parked with the air on and watched, nevertheless we were there about 5 minutes and continued home.
This is why outdoor "public sort of speak ranges" get shut down.
Amazing things go on there I would not even think about shooting next or close to anyone there, sure glad I observed before packing up and taking the trip out.
I'm up for checking out a different place new spots I've never gone to.
I have my own little spot I think I'll keep it.
Alone, with my wife or a close friend.

Remember Gavin Rd "Christmas tree" Well that was ruined by a fire that started in the back because of some dumb ass and his rock shooting, we where doing a Calguns Organized range clean up at the time Riverside Co Sheriff and Calfire also were called then the city of Lake Elsinore got involved days later and claim rounds where shot from that area into their city limits that excuse is as good as any to get it shut down and they succeeded.

Right? Most people are imbeciles. I can't imagine wanting to shoot near other people you don't even know. The desert is giant. Find another place.

And for those who might be reading this and not have a lot of experience, you need to bring an extra trash bag or trash can. Because if you don't pick up your own targets as well as targets and brass left behind by slobs, then you might be a slob as well.

Personally, I fully support Hodge Road. I think it should remain open so everyone can go there. That way, they won't be tempted to wander into the areas I like to go.

Christmas tree lane ...
Those were the days.....Had a lot if fun back there
Put together ' Huge ' clean- ups back there
Coordinated with BLM and removed dumpsters of trash
Then a week later it would be a mess again [ people are slobs ]

I was 12 when my Father and I helped with the clean ups. We would bring a trailer so people wouldn’t have to carry trash in their cars.
Has anybody called the BLM office to see if it’s open again? I’d do it but I’m shy (lazy)

There was a sign posted at the entrance about no shooting except for lawful hunting couldn’t imagine if it’s still there.
It will not open up most likely ever due to the city of lake Elsinore ending that.
