The Bear rectangle without the text.

That way I can have it out there, without screaming "I like guns!" More like a  IYKYK kind of thing.

I don’t like any of them. I don’t know why but it reminds me of the Smokey the bear signs that have been made in the 2020s billboards at bus stops.. or near parks.

Also I just realized it is .net-
I usually just type caguns and that’s it.

The stickers look so much like calguns.net because it’s only missing a “L”.

I have no suggestions only that in letter form it looks way too much like calguns especially with the net.

Calguns who? This is why the URL is important. Not calguns, and .net. Without a URL it's just a California sticker.

Also, the lower left sticker could have a variant where the bear is all black/silhouette.

You guys always try to make it about calguns. I was going to remove your post since it wasn’t relevant but Calguns has come up quite a bit with a number of compromised accounts. Hopefully they do something. I’ve had to update our system several times as a result of lessons learned from their lack of critical updates.

That’s actually ok. If they go to the subreddit it’s all good, here or there is fine. They’ll eventually land here, but most of the stickers do have the .net. I did want to keep an option that was more subtle. I’m sure over time we’ll have more like that.

Yeah we always want to have/keep an option for IYKYK that doesn’t scream in your face.

- Bottom left but make the gun slightly larger. I also like the "CAguns" with the upper and lower case but that is just me. Not sure I would put that on my rear window though.

- Bottom center looks cool and I would put that on my rear window. The black and white/silver is nice.

- Top center and Top Right would also look good with "CAguns.net". I like the Top right if it had "CAguns.net"

The other two white ones not so much for me.

Eventually, we'll see what people land on. Surprisingly it's fairly even.



We'll eventually move to the CAguns but for now all caps until we find a good font... We'll start doing more on branding the site soon.. I've just revamped the FFL section to make it easier for users to search for FFL's.

Honest visual observation off the bat. If you know me I try to do that. Appreciate the open discussion. It’s what I see is what I’m letting you know how it’s processed. I’m just saying, other site probably going to fade into the abyss what I said will be irrelevant.

Ok visually, I think I like the palm tree, blue and green colors better like the banner option colors and picture.

Not the red fire sunset look. Not the officer blue like the other site of course.. just my artistic view.

Sea green with blue gradient or any oceanic variation? I’m not sure if palm trees are only a SoCal thing.
I noticed most people and shops are probably from NorCal.

While sea blues and palm trees remind me of home it also can be viewed as Hawaii or Florida. I think most people see palm trees and ocean blues think of Cali. Pineapple Hawaii and Orange Florida?

Wouldn’t hurt to hire a brand and logo designer to see what they can come up with.

#1 and #4/#5 is what they came up with.. There's another one but that didn't go too well with people and i didn't like it. Most people like the bear in the sunset because it's very California-esque..

Most people believe it or not are from SoCal by like 55/35/10 it's just wider distribution. Also, i notice the socal guys don't shoot as much as the norcal folks or have less access. SoCal folks are mostly in the classifieds and BLM land and have a wider range of styles of shooting.. We'll try to continue to extend our reach though.

After running this site for a while, I've learned a lot more about the C&R, shotguns, and LRP. I try to cater to each discipline, so suggestions are welcome to give folks a home. We'll try to get to sponsoring more events in SoCal but they have a lot fewer events like the ones up here. I'm still trying to reach folks who organize stuff in SoCal. I sponsor a young guy down there and looking for more.

That would be great. Would be nice to attend an event or two a year in SoCal. I saw a boba and shoot post when I was just surfing on here. That’s something I would have enjoyed early in the hobby and still would.
Lately I really got a lot on my plate. If I were young that would be a fun thing to do. But yeah artistic view maybe the younger generation likes things visually different from me and that’s ok. I also know two people at least that lost a home in the Altadena fire. So there’s that. One is a relative. It’s weird when you’re young time kinda stands still and it seems to pass by and there is unlimited time. As you get older all sorts of things get thrown at you and it doesn’t seem to end. But as always enjoy life and the things you enjoy.

I like the bottom left but as someone stated, I think, the orange color under the bear between the trees looks like a fire. But figure that would be good for Southern Kali Jk-JK-Jk
