How to ship Off-roster for Custom work out of state?

Hi everyone,

I searched the forums but the most recent post I saw was from 2024.

I want to send my off-roster CZ for cerakote and milling but it would require shipping out of state. What's the best method to do this? I know some folks still go to Fedex, others ship from an FFL. Anyone have experience/advice in this realm?

One thing you could do to potentially make it easier is only send the slide and have the frame done locally so you don't have to ship the "firearm". I've never sent a frame it scares me lol
 
shipmygun.com is legit, otherwise we would charge actual shipping plus 20 bucks to send it out and get it back for you

Not a bad idea except they need to dissassemble completely as I don't want to handle that myself with this gun. Greta's had to tune the CGW kit after I messed it up :)
