Do a google search. There are lots of OEM and aftermarket solutions to this.
Why would I do that?

The only thing I dont like about my VP9SK is the mag disconnect. I carry it daily and it shoots wonderfully, love that gun. All of my other HK's are not on roster and my county requires permited guns to be on rosterHow bad are the ca VP9’s? Mine are free state guns
I do wish I had grabbed a p30 or two.
What if it was previously on the roster but then fell off?The only thing I dont like about my VP9SK is the mag disconnect. I carry it daily and it shoots wonderfully, love that gun. All of my other HK's are not on roster and my county requires permited guns to be on roster
then it's off roster and not allowed if you have a retard IAWhat if it was previously on the roster but then fell off?
I can confirm that. It's a great nylon case, I kind of prefer it.Is it true the new VP9A1 family of pistols come in a cardboard box and zipper case? Not the hard shell case anymore?
I would prefer it over my hard cases that are just taking up space. soft cases thrown in bag is great.I can confirm that. It's a great nylon case, I kind of prefer it.
Hows it look like with that larger mag and xgrip?Amidst this orgy of adulation regarding our beloved Teutonic manufacturer of utilitarian firearms, I’m hesitant to suggest anything contrarian.
Dare I say it?
The kaiser has no lederhosen!
The standard magazine on the P2000SK devours schnitzelgruben!
What's up with that thoughtlessly placed foot... toe? It could not be placed more inconveniently. My small finger lands dead nuts in the middle, forcing me to tuck the finger under the bottom of the grip. I didn't have my P2000SK for an hour before I was out in the garage standing at the bench grinder. After getting rid of the protrusion, I could get my little finger on the grip, allowing for much better control.
I shot the gun like this for many years. Nowadays I carry it with the longer magazine and a Grip-X extension. The gun was always easy to shoot, but now it's just a little bit better.
Here's an OG magazine after the toectomy.

Congrats. Did you get a LEM or a DA/SA?Haven’t even held my P2000SK yet but got my extra mags in the mail today from Midway.
I always load my mags 10x with snap caps to break them in for live action. These brand new never opened mags from HK were flawlessly smooth from the very first load!!!
I was afraid to pop my HK cherry knowing it would be akin to a $250 Ribeye. Dammit.
Now I know I can NEVER mag dump a 2011 so help me God.
Like a bumper sticker on a Ferrari....But a grinder solution is free…
The H&K store has an extended mag release which helps. I use both my thumb and middle finger to drop the mag. Boo on the rosterThe only thing I dont like about my VP9SK is the mag disconnect. P211 should never ever ever be picked up. Just shoot Shadow 2’s and 1911’s.Haven’t even held my P2000SK yet but got my extra mags in the mail today from Midway.

What if it was previously on the roster but then it has to be on the roster when you qualify with it.
It has to be on the roster when you qualify with it. The big question that I have not found an answer for is what happens when they are removed from the roster, my IA did not know. All (3) of mine will fall off the roster this year most likely, VP9SK, G19 and G26. My assumption is it won’t affect me until I have to renew which is in 2027 but it’s honestly not 100% clear, and in the meantime I get to buy (3) new guns and holsters etc…What if it was previously on the roster but then fell off?
Not the mag release, the mag disconnectThe H&K store has an extended mag release which helps. I use both my thumb and middle finger to drop the mag. Boo on the roster.
yeah HK mags are top shelf. No break in needed, not overly stiff like some brands. My Beretta ACT mags can barely fit the last roundHaven’t even held my P2000SK yet but got my extra mags in the mail today from Midway.

How do you feel the striker fired VP9 compare with your P2000 & P2000SK, and are the latter V3 or V2 LEM?So my gateway into the HK’s was a sale on a P2000SK..,really liked it for what it was. Shoots well, over-engineered, and carried well. Then I got a standard P2000 with the FDE frame…shot even better. I also love the mag release - once I converted I was faster than my older button style mags.
Then the other day I rented a VP9 Maych…the next thing you know I’ve sold a bunch of my stuff and bought the VP9A1 both F and K versions…
Oh the finer things…![]()
