So my gateway into the HK’s was a sale on a P2000SK..,really liked it for what it was. Shoots well, over-engineered, and carried well. Then I got a standard P2000 with the FDE frame…shot even better. I also love the mag release - once I converted I was faster than my older button style mags.

Then the other day I rented a VP9 Maych…the next thing you know I’ve sold a bunch of my stuff and bought the VP9A1 both F and K versions…

Oh the finer things…😂

I envy y'all who know exactly what you want and stick to it. I just collect everything that catches my eye because I'm wishy washy like that

At least I know for myself I can't get used to the paddle release, so that saves me from buying HKs

Shut up! You're being a bad influence.
Now I might buy more HK's and get in trouble with my wife.

The wife will follow, definitely pick up the one of the new VP9A1's. That reminds me, I need to go redeem my $250 rebate on the K.

Definitely recommend getting an extended mag release for your p2000(sk)

And I actually just use my p2000 mags in my vp9k

Locks well feeds well, nice little pinky rest too.

HK’s are something special.

Are they always worth the ‘HK Tax’? No, not always. But, so it goes with most things.

As I’ve posted before, my favorite firearm of all time was my issued MP5 SD. It’s still crazy to me how many rounds I put through it (especially while taking the MP5 Operators Course) without a single failure.

I managed to snag an SP5 L a couple of years ago and had a middleman FFL convert it to a rifle. When I picked it up at my LGS, the memories came flooding back, haha!! Man, what a well-made firearm.

Luckily I still have a Troll’s Hoard of ‘Govt/LEO Only’-marked standard cap MP5 mags (marked that way during the Fed AWB for the younger lads in the room). HK mags seemingly last forever.

Anyway (haha!!)…glad to see one more in the HK tent, OP!! All of your pistols are excellent pickups!!

Love mine. VP9sk, Vp9 with a match slide, hk45. All shooters, all keepers. I did dump my usp45 though. It was not as nice as the hk45 in hand or at the range.

How bad are the ca VP9’s? Mine are free state guns

I do wish I had grabbed a p30 or two.

I have nearing 10k through a P2000SK in .40 and its never had a failure to eject, fire or feed. Best hand gun I have ever owned.

If I had a USP or p2000 in .40 I would still have a pistol in .40. Those gun are just magical. How’s the SK handle recoil?

Oh man…of the many mistakes I’ve made over the years, not stocking up on 40 SW HK’s is near the top of the list, haha!! I’m a 40 fan through and through.

Someday I’ll find a P7M10…I’ve got two magazines just waiting for the corresponding pistol, haha!!
