Removing the mag disco from the VP9 won’t leave a hole in the frame like it will on the PDP, but it does involve a decent amount of disassembly and reassembly, including a few easy to lose pins and springs, just to swap out the tiny piece that acts as the disco.

On the surface, it's seemingly a Glock clone, with some additional complexity...I agree with this description 100%.

The thing that makes it 100x more difficult than normal disassembly/reassembly, is this added pin that HK use to lock the trigger housing/chassis in place. It is next to impossible to remove and HK has seen many people crack the frame and destroy the gun in the process of removal. Removing it creates flex in the frame.

Searching on line on how to remove it, will bring you to stories about this, especially if the gun has never been disassembled.

Walther came with a nice hard case. HK just a soft bag. What are they, poors?

Walther owners are a bunch of prancing dandies who like to store their off-the-shelf guns in fancy boxes. HK owners don't care if our guns come in a paper sack, because we're going to throw it away anyway and stick the gun in a holster.

Yeesh, what is it with the Germans and their difficult to disassemble guns? Do Walther and HK customers tend to be masochistic or something?
