I need a new bank

Look into Marcus by Goldman Sachs - they don't have Brick & Mortar locations, but its a Goldman Sachs product that have high interest rate savings accounts and CDs (definitely higher than the Big banks). Being a GS product, they're FDIC insured. I've withdrawn five figures out (takes a few days) but no questions asked. Gets deposited into my "primary institution" where I usually get a cashier's check (fees waived usually). Haven't tried a large withdrawal in cash though...

You would still need a "primary institution" to transfer/wire your funds in and out - for that I would suggest a local (reputable) credit union or a Big Bank that doesn't give you too much hassle.
