Haven’t made it out to the outdoor range yet. My indoor range doesn’t allow tripods, rests, or stands. But I did some dry fire in the backyard, and yeah, I see what you’re getting at with your recommended setup.
PS: Because of how far the range is, I’m planning to bring all my main pistols and check their zero in one trip.
