ID papaws old revolver

One thing that makes old family guns so cool is the story behind them.
Unfortunately I was never able to meet the gentleman but from what I am told he was an old cowboy that only ever owned two pistols.
This one and a 7” .22 revolver.
They say this is the one though that he would never leave the house without even when he rode a horse to meet a girl on a first date that eventually became grandma.
Legit stuff that sounds like it’s out of a lifetime movie😂
Guns with history are the best!

What an awesome story that will follow that revolver as long as it's in your family!

Damn, you young guys drive me nuts with your lingo. I have to ask my AI what your terms mean. It's giving me a headache. The lingo I understand is "Yaba Daba Doo"
"What's up Doc" "Pad" Made in the shade. 🤪
If it makes you feel better this movie came out when I was in middle school 20 years ago: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cars_(film) where the lingo is from

What'choo talkin' 'bout, Willis?

Harrington & Richardson Safety Hammerless / H&R Hammerless Large Frame First Model, almost certainly chambered in .38 S&W. That puts manufacture roughly 1899–1904. Blue Book describes this exact model as a five-shot .38 S&W, made 1899–1904, with the target-logo grips and the five patent dates on top of the barrel.
Teamwork makes the dream work!

True story!
There’s a couple in the safe with big sentimental value that I will LOVE telling my kids about (as soon as they are old enough to understand lol)

This show ended before I was born but still get the reference!
Probably because all the Gary Coleman controversy on the news before he passed.

The estate of the director of cars is a client of mine. I’ve never met him personally but he has a SUPER cool car collection there including the real live versions of some of the cars from the movie. No doubt a legit car guy.
