Is a GTO sig with a pinned and weld muzzle actually 100% legal ?

I was told by an ffl that it wasnt even the p211 gto that was the issue about the lug, it was a canik. He told me to go ahead an order a p211 and send it to them.

The Cannik Barrel is less of a lug than the P211. Your FFL must not be a Sig Dealer. Sig knows it would not be legal and thats why they are only trying to get the GT4/GT5's on the Roster.
 
I have had a few requests about having me perm attach a GTO comp to the barrel.
I finally had one in my hands last week and I worked out the process.
I use the original Sig locking pin but I make a new locking screw that replaces the original Sig spring and setscrew.
I do this so that there's no way for the taper lock pin to be driven loose against the spring.
After degreasing everything and installing the new parts, I fully weld the locking screw into the comp.
There's no way that comp is coming off without grinding through the welded area to cut away the locking screw and then driving out the taper lock pin to allow the comp to rotate.

Here is the perm attach I did the other day:

The weld looks bigger than it is because the finish comes off of the heat effected zone around the weld.
The weld would not be as noticeable after the comp is refinished.
