I'll say it, Sig went Woke and will go Broke, symbolicallyat least. Sig leadership has been failing the people for quite a while for the sake of profit margins. Glock is and always has been the Standard the Military should of followed thru with. Keep it simple stupid. Unnecessary Military Traditions combined with BEAURACRATIC corruption has compromised our servicemen performance and morale. Citizens have the edge in options and even training. Just picture Joe Biden driving that electric Ford F-150 holding a P320 with finger on the Trigger. Train accordingly.

If these guys were personally responsible for the development and production of the P320, then okay I get it. They are defending something they created. That's not the case, however. This is just some dudes that paid money in exchange for a product. Get over it and stop being so personally invested in something just because you own it.

Yeah after this debacle I sold my backup and kept one but I’m going to be offloading some of the accessories.

The p320 is a good gun to mod. I haven’t had problems with the two I own with fairly high round counts, but I like a gun I can use stock and the pdp seems to fit that bill pretty good.

I still have my Glocks too which are more for home defense than competition but if the ergos work for you Glock is still one of the best. You know what you’re getting without a whole lot of upgrades.

Trigger, recoil spring, optic cut are the only mods i like to make now.

Side note... Ben is onsite today teaching fundamentals and Skills & Drills. Got a couple of guys in the group shooting Sig P320, myself included (Wed/Thurs).



We also have Mason Lane coming here from Sig, confirmed. Amazing shooter and down to earth guy. Heavy round counts (750/day) and no shortage of sarcasm.

We'll likely to bring him back next year too. Apologies for thread drift!

That was interesting. I’m glad I do not own a P320, in any configuration. If I did, I would either sell it, shelve it as a paperweight, or return it to Sig. In the event that Sig wouldn’t take it back, I’d be inclined to dump it way out by one of our crab pots.

Looks like Sig is morphing into the latest edition of Boeing?…
Their solution may be to issue a total recall of any and all subject products, and offer ALL owners either a totally new, redesigned product, or monetary compensation. Imagine if that happened, and a court awarded related expenses (for example DROS & transfer in states like California)…it could be their ending as a company.
The discussion regarding the person who died is interesting.

If you put parts in your gun that are not manufactured for your gun, and there is an issue, is it the manufacturers problem? Or the bubba who bubbad?

I think that’s just GG leaving some ambiguity, since they sell P320 stuff. Most of the ND are stock guns.

At this point if you shoot sig, you’re either paid by them or just silly.

It’s not that bad. I’ve mentioned I have one 10k+ rounds, only issue was the optic. Between two of them ~25k rounds. I had some issues initially with gun not cycling out of the box. Needed a clean and lube. The majority of people don’t have an issue. IMO this is more of a QA/PR issue.

I’d agree if you say the P320 has some issues but from a % POV it’s low. From a manufacturer POV their other firearms don’t have this issue. So id limit it to a product issue.
