Ok but what if you do know what's behind? The ballistics of 9mm are such that out to 50 is only a few inches of drop with a 25 yard zero. The whole point is that you may not get to choose. You definitely should go shoot at 50 because it's not nearly as hard as you think to hit a man sized target.
Why would you have a 25 yard zero on a ccw gun to begin with? Most people zero for 10-15 yards. What do you mean you may not get to choose? What edge case scenario would dictate a justifiable 50 yard handgun shot?

I'm not saying it's impossible or even extremely difficult to get hits on a silhouette at 50 yards while standing still. I'm saying it's hard to do it while rounds are coming towards you and your body is pumping fight or flight hormones.

If you have a 25 yard zero then everything up to 25 yards is going to be under your dot, if you do ten or fifteen it will be low to fifteen then high at 25 so 25 is a great zero for 9mm. But you are commenting on the edge case where a 60 yard shot was justifiable and the guy involved made a video saying he wished he had trained more for those kinds of shots. But yeah, it's hard to do under pressure and it gets easier if you train for it. You don't get to choose because you aren't in control of your surroundings. What if you have no escape but someone is chasing you at over 50 yards? Do you just want for them to get closer?

It’s for sure an ASP video I’m just not sure how to find it. He has so many with random clickbait titles
Dude, right!? what the F- with that channel I scrolled a few screens worth. I don’t actually find his titles or thumbnails useful at all.

Sitting in the beauty of nature with a lit cigarette is just disgusting. Vile habit.
