8in which means its not getting enough time to burn off the powder and is shooting most of it out the barrel IE its weak and need higher power ammo.
As my other comment stated but i got downvoted. I've been trouble shooting rifles for a very long time. 556 needs at least 14.5 to be opt.

So then run .223 to see how it cycles?

That's definitely another thing to look at, if the bolt is scraping on any of the compliance stuff

So Talked with juggernaut earlier and they said send it back so they can test. Forward assist may be a bad batch issue. They were shocked to hear about the problems I was having but we shall see..

On the forward assist. The good news is that JT takes the time to use threaded pins rather than roll pins so its a very easy fix. They pop out; not necessarily a JT thing. I pull em and replace them with the EGW plug.

That guy has no idea what's he's talking about. While 223 tends to be loaded a bit lighter, if you are shooting 55 grain there's probably not much difference. there's a bunch of 223 that's loaded just as hot as Winchester White box 556. Either way it should cycle both without issue if it's gassed right

It's 99.8% the same thing. It should be fine out of the box tbh. With a light coat of lube my M400 shot like 2000 rounds straight no issue brand new
