Justice Department Sues California to Halt Glock Ban

You falsely claimed that Bruen is endless despite it having ended, you claimed it did nothing despite the ruling forcing all of California and NY etc the entire country to become shall issue CCW. You claimed the vampire law in Hawaii is still in effect despite it being shutdown by the Supreme Court which also strikes down most or all of SB2. If you're just gonna lie why are you commenting
are you referring to this comment of mine," instead of filing endless lawsuits that go nowhere for decades against these bills/ laws ?" if so, yes i get you it is an exaggeration to an extent. But bruen went on for years. and yes, this is all endless--no? are we not endlessly filing lawsuits for our 2A rights, and is it not true that they do go on for forever even though it is an exaggeration of words? and yes bruen did nothing (shrugs) is that not obvious, i have no clue what Bruen did or does and no one can inform me what it actually has done or does-- so what? but you can try if you would like (shrugs). i mean it basically says we can own guns

comical. this is the part that most do not grasp, the 2A says that we can do this without a certification and/or licenses. so again, what has bruen done?

i am not sure where or when i exactly typed this specific comment, can you show me?

i know i have said that,
" instead of filing endless lawsuits that go nowhere for decades against these bills/ laws "
and
" hence endless lawsuits that go on forever and do nothing for anything "

so since you keep referring to all the CCW stuff, you also and most people, do not seem to understand, let alone grasp, that there should be no CCW/permission slip, the 2A says we can carry in public already. so again, what has bruen or this stupid Hawaii thingy done for anything ? I mean, the ruling basically says that California has to FILE the CCW. do you get that part? not necessarily give them out to everybody who applies. and the hawaii thingy only says that hawaii cannot tell people that everywhere is a no carry in public areas. so for the umpteenth time now, what has any of this done for anything?

It doesn’t say that exactly so courts have to interpret it

Not sure which judge they'll pickup in CDCal but I imagine any PI (if any are issued) gets stayed at Ninth. Then we're off to the SCOTUS waiting room again.
Depending on how and how quickly the AR-15 cases get decided, the 9th may have no path left to screw us.

Yes it does. “The right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.”

“Keep” - to purchase and own.

“Bear” - to carry on one’s person.

All gun control and CCW permitting are unconstitutional. No other right requires such onerous permission to exercise.

Thinking ahead, what's all left after the aforementioned here in CA?

-11% excise tax
-roberti roos AW ban by name
-AW ban features for all platforms and not just rifles, like threaded barrels and suppressors for pistols
-online parts restrictions
-ammo background check & residential shipping restrictions
-10-day waiting period
-3 purchase transfers in 30 days
-5 sales transfers or 50 arms per 12 months

We'll likely be much older, if even fortunate enough to still be here by the time any of these ever get addressed, but can anyone think of anything else I'm forgetting?
FRTs 😱

Yeah I agree sadly society doesn't see it that way

True, along with machine guns and SBRs.
Well I’ll tell you damn frt work pretty good. You wouldn’t know the difference if you didn’t know about frts.

I got mine working flawless with super safeties. But a real machine gun is still nice especially collector wise

I’m hoping we get a TRO or injunction staying the Glock ban to keep status quo as the likelihood the DOJ will succeed is high.

Yes...except for all the work they've been doing since last year to get compliant guns on roster, all of which has been well documented here. But other than that, they've completely abandoned us.
Well wake us up when the gen 6 arrives.

I get it. It’s not their fault this happened to the gen 3s. It’s just that other makers have stepped up massively and are getting new guns out here. Glock has a mount Everest of money from CA gun owners. They were literally printing money making the gen 3s. The initial investments paid off many times over.

... as the likelihood the DOJ will succeed is high.
Please explain what argument the US DoJ has made (or can make) that haven't already been made by other lawsuits on the same matter.

And the US DoJ just being the US DoJ is not an argument in and of itself. On the contrary, with the rapid demise of most skilled attorneys from the federal agencies, and the laughable and baseless lawsuits the DoJ has been throwing at all the walls like spaghetti, their filings will be read with a jaundiced eye. I see the whole idea of the US suing states over already settled matter as nothing other than political grandstanding and campaign advertising for republicans.
