If you want a 1911 buy them now. Personally I’d suggest waiting as they are all about to be replaced with new versions that have external extractors

Also there was something else I was suppose to mention today

I wouldn't be surprised, 2011s sell so much better. Nobody shoots 45 anymore....
Should be hitting the roster soon but the way that happens who knows. Look at the HD island comp 4.5 that things still pending approval 8months later. But that one will also hit the roster real soon.
Personally the p4 with a port is nicer option but if you want non comp the 4.5 is a nice way to go.

They do but last I heard they won't from r66. I think for CA they'd rather sell us the 2k11 than the da warrior because of higher margins.
That is a plausible explanation but the obvious question is: why not just roster both after a period of market exclusivity for the 2k11?

Kimber has to know that there are many more buyers for an $1100 DS Warrior than there are for a $2300 2k11. Someone who can't afford a 2k11 won't buy one, and now that the P211 got rostered at $2100 it isn't even the obvious choice at the price point.

I shoot 50 rounds a trip every range trip. The rest of the lunch crew does too. We are all middle age plus though and have the time to shoot during lunch. So maybe not the best sample group.

I agree and DS warrior also has 10mm and 45acp versions which looks even more interesting for myself. Looking at the classified I have a feeling people don't care about money when it comes to 2011. Yeah I personally would go for p211 if I were to get a 2011 but with the 10 round limit in CA, 2011 is almost wasted for me.

Do you have a linkable source yet? Or FFL whispers?

Same here (I just shot 200 45 last week and will likely do the same tomorrow) but then I don't buy any overpriced off roster guns and spend the money on ammo.

It’s hitting the roster. Someone just trying to get you to buy the higher price one there bud lol

P4.5 not pending approval, it wasn't even submitted for approval. Or so I was told by numerous Staccato reps
