LASD CCW amendments are now allowed

[ChameBang]

Got an email today from Medic up consulting saying LASD is now accepting amendments to your current CCWs. Previously they were not accepting any additions in guns until you renew. I spoke with a lady at the CCW 2 weeks ago and asked her about it and she said they are caught up on applications so expect them to start accepting them. I guess today is that day.

So when they said they caught up... is it still going to take a year?

I’d be curious to hear an updated timeline for someone nowadays. Took me 18 months

Current time-line start to finish average 4.5 months.

wow... mine took 28 months and 13 days...
submitted application 09/10/22, picked up 01/22/25.

4.5 months is crazy..
