I have been casting my own boolits for about to 20 years now. I normally process raw lead in a large Dutch oven around 180 lbs at a time, sometimes processing 500 lbs a session. As a well known lead alloy supplier to other casters, I literally handle Tons of lead in a matter of a few months. I don’t eat, drink or smoke while Im handling lead. After I wash my hands, arms and face very well with soap and water. I take off my clothes and they get washed separately. I shot primarily outdoors so I try to make sure the wind isn’t blowing the lead back at me. Lead leaves have remained constant for years now. Be carful with the water used from water tumbling your brass. That stuff is bad

Ultimately, why I gave up reloading... It's cool until its not. I also use the d-lead wipes for counters, laundry, and abrasive soap.

If handling wet cases or the water that was used, then yes but normally I don’t as I tumble most of my brass. I just wash up good after

I used the chemical resistant gloves big rubber ones
