Much appreciated! I bought this a LONG time ago. Back then the holster options for the Full Rail were ZERO, so I snagged the 3/4 rail since there were at least a few options. These days, obviously there are mountains of holster options for the full rail 1911/2011. I had considered picking up a full rail version, but man have they went up in price!
Yep everything has gone up. I have to sometimes sell a couple of toys just to buy that nice one I want.

California Combat python / Boa collection with matching serial numbers would be price wise for me, what seems to get everyone’s attention is the 82A1, got a couple Colt / Les Baer 1911’s , some Scars and Augs, couple Desert Eagles, S&W 500, too much stuff to choose from.

Trio of custom 2011s.
Front: full custom build on an STI 4.25” tactical frame. No clue who built it
Middle: Limcat Wildcat AKA “Springcat”Tracker built with a Prodigy frame in Rams colors
Back: One of the first Limcat open guns made built on a Tripp frame, Tripp grip, Caspian slide, Accurails, and on its 5th top end in 9 major in Steelers colors

This PDP compact is my daily carry. Even when it’s 100 outside in the Sacramento summer I like it. Fully loaded 15+1 with RCR it does get just heavy enough to need a good belt

I have a tough time pinning down my best but this is a contender and has an interesting story to it.
I bought it from cabelas last April and during the background check period it was flagged as a stolen model 15-3 with the same serial number. The local PD collected it but I wasn’t going to give up on it as I know that no model 15-3 could ever had the same serial number and they most likely recorder and assembly number in the crane as the serial. After 10-11 months of pestering various PD’s and the DOJ I finally was able to get it cleared and into my possession!
Anyways, the .38/44 Outdoorsman with a humpback hammer and matching pre war magna grips is as closest I’ve managed to picking up a RM.

Colt S80 Enhanced Commander I got in 1992. Sent to Virgil Tripp in 2003 for a rework. Serrations on the top of the slide, front strap, custom main spring housing, gentle melt to the sharp edges, custom safety, trigger job with a commander hammer and rat tail grip safety, Heinie sights, and a Kings Gun Works barrel bushing finished with a famous Tripp hard chrome finish. A very nice shooter.
