Livescan renewals timeframe

Has anyone renewed recently after the livescan requirement change? I did mine at beginning of month but still havent heard anything yet. My renewals used to take 2 or 3 days, im presuming they are backed up.

Live scan is such a stupid requirement. It’s another effort by Sacramento to make us spend more. I see no reason fingerprints should be needed for a renewal, and even if they were why an expensive live scan should be needed instead of an ink card.

Did you not get a copy for your records or at least a note with the ATI # from whomever did your livescan? That's where you'd find it normally and be able to query what the status is.
I never knew it was a thing or form that I needed. They did my fingerprint on that machine then said once I get renewed they will mail my card. But on my local IA site it still shows processing. In the past once it says approved I just go pick up the card

That form is your only proof you did livescan.

My IA required scan in person at the department as well with no Live Scan receipt. When I asked the deputy how long it was taking to get it back from the DOJ she said recently they had one come back as early as a day, and one person's been waiting a month. But that in general it was relatively fast. That was two weeks ago. I just got the email today to pick up my renewal. I'm sure it cleared prior to that though since my agency waits to push through everything on the counties end until the last week before your expiration.
