Straight up, I failed miserably the last time I tried to launch shirts. I tried to guess what people wanted, and it didn't land. This time, I’m doing what I should have done from the start: asking the sub. I finally found a designer who can execute, but we want to make sure we’re putting out stuff you actually want to wear.

What we’re looking for:

• CA 2A Memes: The struggle is real here, might as well laugh about it.
• Slogans: Catchy, pro-2A, or CA-specific one-liners.
• Lifestyle: Clean, aesthetic designs that fit the vibe.

The Deal:

Drop an idea in the comments. If your concept gets picked and turned into a design, I’ll hook you up with a free shirt and sticker pack when we print them.

Updates on the Sport:

While I’m here, we’re officially a founding member with PCSL now and are sponsoring more Level II USPSA and local matches this year. We’re trying to put money back into the space to help it grow and make it more accessible.

Updates on the site:

We had to make some changes recently because everyone is adjusting to AB-1263. We’ve also made some changes to make accounts clearly visible if they don’t actively participate to reduce scams.

Thanks for the support. All these things will help us continue to offer the site for free and add new features.

Here's what I got with a simple copy and paste

In n out style shirts featuring late 50's fin cars, atomic themed diners and returning GI's of
WW2& Vietnam leaning up on the hood or truck with some of the finest ca legal hardware poking up out of the back seat or in their hands. Garand, carbine, m14. Bayonets affixed are cooler then tacticool ar 15's. Then flip it Soviet pop art style with an SKS. Make the licence plates read CAGUNS. Because after all comrades... Rockets, futuristic dreamliner trains, nuclear energy. Atoms for peace elements. Combine California car culture with guns and some of arguably the coolest art deco designs that I want back in my life.

The art you posted is from an aesthetic called "Googie", which is forward-looking, atomic age, space-faring optimism, well past Art Deco which was popular between 1920 and 1940. I think the fins on cars of that era were meant to be evocative of rockets and spaceships.

Googie design made heavy use of atomic iconography and the whimsical space aesthetic.

Googie architecture and design is some of my favorite, like Disney's Tomorrowland and design trends from the mid-century. Anaheim, around Disneyland, had lots of Googie architecture and logos, much of which is still there. I remember being transfixed by this as a kid.

LAX features "The Theme Building", built in 1961, another example of Googie architecture and design featuring atomic symbolism.

If you Google "Googie Architecture" or "Googie Design" you'll see what I mean.

We need more of that styling brought back, it's very cool and uniquely American. It evokes an optimistic vision for the future as opposed to whatever we have today. As far as t-shirts, it needs to be a very cool graphic for me to want to purchase one.

We'll have some every now and then. It won't be one release. Hopefully we can come out with some cool things over time. It'll act as a fundraiser for us over time.. The hard part is the logistics, but that's all getting worked out this year. I struggled with it last year but learned a lot in the process so this year I hope to get things going..

I would definitely go for the Googie aesthetic too, with a full site URL.

Very cool to see it out in the wild… very few of these went out so I appreciate the support and patience. Hopefully the next time will be better

I'd buy the dreamliner image on a shirt no doubt. My boy loves trains.

These look good. Definitely some Googie design here. I'm a pro artist and unlike my colleagues, I love AI art when done well.

I really like the Aurora and the jet. If they could be made to fill half of the back of the t-shirt I think it would really draw attention to the tee, modernistic. Also, more appealing for people to look at than anything else showing a weapon like an Ar or something along that line. It is a shirt someone could wear to Disney without a Karen going crazy.
My first choice would be Aurora.
