Looking into a career with CBP and can use some help

As the title states, im looking into a career with border protection and customs. Seems like a cool job just wondering if anyone here has any insider knowledge about the job, how you like it, pros and cons, etc.

For some background, I'm a civilian and have never even held a job in security.

Yeah you better disclose that, would be huge to omit. The federal government can see anything that’s sealed, doesn’t matter. If you get a security clearance they’ll rip your life open
