Lubrication, S&W M&P 2.0 10MM

Recently picked up a 10MM M&P 2.0 and the guide rod spring was insanely squeaky.

Applied some Kluber Staburags and it made it silent. I use this for driveshaft spline lubrication on my cars and motorcycles. It’s great for sliding components.

Pretty expensive but a little goes a long way. I’ve had one tube for over five years. It’s about the same consistency as toothpaste and stays put after application.

Give us a report after some use with it I’m interested in getting one but I see mix reviews. The only 10mm I’ve had was a 1911 and a P220 SAO, both steel frames, wanna try a polymer frame.

Yea if this works out, I may let my G20 + KKM barrel go. It's a fat boy, and the M&P is more ergonomic for me.

I sold my G20 to fund the M&P for the same reason it just felt chunky in the hands. Was sweating for a bit not being able to find one with an upcoming camping trip in bear country.

I might be picking one up tomorrow. Walked into an LGS today and he had one. I want to hold out for a 4", but who knows if it'll ever get added.

Mine doesn’t squeak, but I’ve only racked the slide a few times before putting it away. Will check once I get back to it.
