The purpose of the sear disconnect lever is to drop the sear down so you do not have to pull the trigger to take the slide off the frame. What is the purpose of this other than take down without pulling the trigger?
What happens when you remove it entirely?
it’s the same. There’s a sear disconnect and a mag disconnect. You can remove both enabling you to fire without a mag. To field strip you pull the trigger instead of moving the sear disconnect.Which M&P do you have? My 10mm is now 10 days away from coming home. I'm curious about the mag disco removal, if it's the same.

Already took out the Mag disconnect leaving the lever in place.
Not a matter of time but unneeded parts in a gun. Keep It Simple Shooter. Do we need a LCI while we are at it?Waste an additional 30 seconds to remove tool and release sear disconnect? Who has time for that? Pull the trigger like a man lol
If you find an LCI delete, I would like to know about it.Not a matter of time but unneeded parts in a gun. Keep It Simple Shooter. Do we need a LCI while we are at it?
No debate. Everyone knows they are only a feel good Kalifornia Gun Safety ( Control) Feature. If you find an LCI delete, I would like to know about it.
