The ads changed a bit and now they take up a little more space on free accounts. However, on paid accounts they are now removed.

I think this deserves its own announcment so that people know, the new ad units help support the site but they are a bit more in your face. So higher tiers will have ads removed.

In addition, we've also rolled out more scam detection methods and will be updating some of our classifieds check boxes.

While we're at it, now's your chance to say something if you want to see something.

Next up, we will be implementing our own Roster Update system in the coming months. So that we can produce more content and also include any changes in the laws as they get released too. We're continuing to look at ways to make CAguns a hub for all things 2A in CA.

Feel free to roast me and direct me to instructions if this function is already available. I’ve been using the site on mobile. Is there a list-based drop down function for filtering the Classified section? Probably a nightmare to curate or I’m just too dumb to find it but if it’s there or possible, a caliber, manufacturer and location filter set would be nice

It seems important enough to add, but doesn't happen frequently enough to have a dedicated section. Tried to work with one of the other guys, but he wasn't having it so time to incorporate it into the main site. Now that we have multiple frameworks in place.

That's why we periodically ask. We have new members consistently and people can't really find things from time to time. We also have users who have more experience who come up with some really good questions or asks. It helps keeps things fresh and helps new people along the way so, you're welcome and even though you've been here since 2024, there's always something new as we add things over time.

I like to keep the site evolving. We have some other cool things coming up too so it's good when you guys help me with the pipeline.
