I know IKEO has talked about this topic quite a bit and has a specific vision for the site which I totally get, and a big part of that is just to have less people fighting which results in more site moderation required. But realistically it's getting to be a drag to sift through the same ads day after day for people asking bonkers prices on mediocre stuff. I do think it actually affects the quality of the marketplace to have so much unsold stuff that you have to wade through to use the marketplace. I honestly think it would be better if comments on pricing were allowed and even encouraged, we need to cull some of this stuff. But that's just my 💩ty opinion 🤓

ever consider that maybe we don't HAVE to sell and are only willing to let go at the price we set? not selling? no problem. I keep it that plain & simple.
my over priced gen3 glocks are not getting any bites and I am fine with it.

The annoying thing for me about finding diamonds is learning what's actually the diamond. By the time I know enough to realize what's being sold at a great value...well, I probably already have it lol

You are part of the problem ;)

ironically I think there are more glocks for sale than ever, the issue is that they are all overpriced. Again the market forces are broken as high supply should drive down prices but people just keep the ads rolling til next year

I did pick up a new 4” stainless Python for $800 a while back so I keep coming back for another “hit” like a crack addict.

Do you think that shaming unreasonable sellers will make them...reasonable? I suspect that this isn't a good strategy, long-term.
